Innovation
ROCSID has been designed and developed to assist investigators with recording and monitoring complaints made by the public and internally within the Victoria Police force. Many of the manual processes performed by the Victoria Police have been electronically automated to reduce manual efforts and hardcopy document management. "This system has reduced the work of 2 of my staff by 90 percent" as stated by Tom Bentley Ethical standards Department (ESD) Victoria Police.
ROCSID allows ESD to capture digital images, audio/video files of interviews within the database for other users to review online.
The Victoria Police are now considered by other organisations such as the Australian Federal Police as being the first to be able to analyse and profile would be offenders by using ROCSID.
Many of the manual tasks have been reduced by ROCSID to improve the efficiency of staff within ESD. The department has been able to downsize staff requirements.
ROCSID has been developed for extremely flexible operation within various industries. All the default values and tables are completely managed by the system administrator and business rules can be changed by the user.
The capabilities of ROCSID's reporting is endless. Reports provide instant graphical comparisons of current and historical performances by the organisation. ESD can report accurate information to the Victorian public on the performance of the police force at the touch of a button. The old system would require as much as 4 weeks work to produce the annual reports.

Potential
We have just started our marketing campaign for ROCSID in August 2000.
ROCSID was presented at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Durban South Africa August 2000.
ROCSID was presented at the Australasian Internal Investigations Conference in Darwin NT Oct 2000. ROCSID was extremely well received and we are currently engaging in sales opportunities with many of the attendees. The conference endorsed the fact that we have an excellent product to market.
We have and are developing strategic alliances with marketing representatives within Australia, South Africa, Asia and the USA. We are looking to establish alliances in Europe, South America and other parts of the world.
ROCSID can be supported worldwide from within 50 different countries via the Magic Software partners. Magic Group will be providing Internet based support to agents and users.
ROCSID can be easily converted to other languages including double bite character sets (Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew etc.)
ROCSID is scalable from 2-5 to 100-200 concurrent users.
ROCSID has been designed to cater for global markets by using windows and GUI standards.
ROCSID has been certified with the IBM Netfinity ServerProven program.
ROCSID's potential is endless. We are targeting many government organisations from Healthcare, Prisons, Transport, Education, public services etc. to private industry watch dogs such as ombudsman's offices, banking, legal, finance and security.
ROCSID has been endorsed by the Victoria Police as a general policing investigation tool/system.
