January 2008 – More Sponsors support the Consensus Software Awards. Consensus announces the addition of three more Sponsors for the 2008 Consensus Software Awards – Bartier Perry, BDO Kendalls and PIP.

November 2007 – Consensus is proud to announce that the New Zealand Computer Society has agreed to endorse and support the Consensus Software Awards. Established in 1999, the Awards were extended from Australia into New Zealand in 2006 by invitation of the New Zealand Government. Paul Matthews, Acting CEO of NZ Computer Society Inc., said: “It is a pleasure for the Society to support these most excellent Awards and the innovation they identify each year. We will actively promote the Awards and no doubt many of our members will be interested in joining the illustrious judging panel.”
October 2007 – Now in their 9th year, the Consensus Software Awards identify the most innovative software designed and developed in Australia and New Zealand. The Awards are endorsed and supported by Austrade, NZ Trade & Enterprise and the Australian Computer Society. IBM and Microsoft are the major Sponsors. Entries will close at the end of January 2008, with judging starting in early February. The Awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner in Sydney at the end of April 2008.
